Membership

A range of membership options is available including an Introductory Membership available to those who join the club having not been a previous member and is a available for up to the the first 2 years of membership. For just £1 a day, this offers great value.

Another addition to our membership offering is that of International Member which is open to all golfers whose main place of residence is outside the United Kingdom. This has been introduced to cater for the many golfers that come to the Lake District for their holidays or visit the area regularly.

The Course

The course is relatively short at 4,881 yards off the yellow tees with just one par 5 – The course is maintained in superb condition and in recent years all the greens have been replaced and rebuilt to USPGA specifications. Naturally, being in the Lake District, the views are stunning.

Catering

We have an excellent restaurant with some of the most stunning views the Lake District has to offer.

Our steward, Suzanne Pye, will only be too happy to serve you a delicious meal or snack from her varied menus. During the summer (end of March to end of October) the bar snack menu is available daily from 8am – 9pm, in addition to the daily specials. In the winter months food is available 8am – 5pm

Tuition

As a teacher, Simon has brought to Windermere Golf Club a wealth of knowledge gained from working with and observing some of the world’s finest teachers such as Jim Flick, David Leabetter and Dave Pelz.

His simple approach to teaching the game, results in his students improving faster and having a lot more fun.

Tuition starts from £30.00 for a 45 minute sesssion

Indoor Teaching Academy

State of the art computer equipment is used as a tool during lessons and is an ideal setting during the winter months to improve your game before the season starts.

The Huxley artificial putting green and Quintic Video analysis system is used for tuition on the single most important area of golf. It will also evaluate a client’s existing putter to establish if they are getting optimum performance on the greens.
